Engineering Mathematics Professional

MEI is a charity committed to improving mathematics education.

We are looking for an engineering educator with enthusiasm for mathematics. Your main tasks will be to develop mathematics support materials for engineering courses in FE colleges and schools and to advise on their use. Working principally from home, you will work closely with your line manager who will be an MEI mathematician. You will also receive support from an engineering mentor provided through The Royal Academy of Engineering.

You should have a minimum of three years experience of teaching level 3 engineering in FE colleges or at school sixth form. Educated to degree level in a branch of engineering, you should be confident in mathematics to at least A-level standard.

You will initially be employed on a 2 year (0.5 FTE) contract.
