Project Officer – creating a modern technician class initiative
12-month Fixed Term, Full-Time, Central London

The Project:
The Skills for Growth White Paper calls for greater recognition of the vital role played by technicians in the STEM-related sectors of health, science, ICT and Engineering. The Royal Academy of Engineering has agreed to act as host to a pan-sectorial initiative in response to this call.

The Role:
A Project Officer is sought to facilitate this exciting yet challenging initiative and to act in support of the senior figures from business and industry, the NHS, Government and the professions who have pledged their active involvement. The role will be for an initial period of 12 months – continuation is possible but cannot be guaranteed.

The salary offered for the position is £40k per annum with more available to an exceptional candidate
