Call for nominations
The call for nominations is now
open for the following awards and medals.

Special Achievement Award
The Royal Academy of Engineering Special
Achievement Award recognises the contribution of
an engineer who has led or played a critical
role in a major engineering project that has
substantial impact on society.

Sustained Achievement Award
The Academy's Sustained Achievement Award
(formally Lifetime Achievement Award) was first
presented in 2005, and will be awarded to an
engineer, normally resident in the UK, whose
sustained achievements over a number of projects
have had a profound impact upon their
engineering discipline.

The Sir George Macfarlane Award
This Award recognises the potential of younger
UK engineers, who have demonstrated excellence
in the early stage of their career. This
excellence is marked by a quality of leadership
and/or technical and scientific attainment that
is clearly seen to be outstanding by their
employers and organisation.

The Rooke Medal for the Public Promotion of Engineering
Awarded to an individual, small team or
organisation who has contributed to the
Academy's aims and work through their initiative
in promoting engineering to the public.
