Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellowships Scheme: Funding
Salary of replacement lecturer
The awards cover the gross
salary costs of a replacement academic to undertake
the teaching and administrative responsibilities of
the researcher for the duration of the fellowship.
The basic salary of the replacement academic is
normally paid
the starting salary of the host institutions lecturer pay scale.
Overall salary costs will
include employer’s National Insurance and
superannuation contributions. Indirect costs
are not payable.
Support fund
A sum of a maximum of
£2,500 (‘Support Fund’) may also be made
available to the research to cover, for
example, miscellaneous costs such as
attendance at conferences and minor research
expenses.
